For many years, people have shown their love for musical theater. I could state a few reasons why: 

1. The stories of the Songs from a musical theater is different. Sometimes you can never know the message of the song if you haven’t watched the musical itself.
2. It is not mainstream. You do not usually hear it on the streets while walking. It is not usually part of the “heart break playlist”. Lastly, it is not usually heard sang by the artists who are not known in the field of theater.
3. Finally, it is underrated. This is sort of related to the second one. Not all people appreciate theater music, which is very unfortunate. If you would compare the number of people who streams music from the Pop genre, the numbers who listens to theater music genre will be shy. Apparently, people nowadays tend to find music that they could share to people who are unaware of this genre.
